Feeding time

Posted by
Spike (not Bristol, United Kingdom) on 19 May 2010 in Animal & Insect.

Meanwhile, the birds are busy trying to keep insatiable offspring fed. This starling was making a round trip every three to five minutes.

Tech stuff: taken while hanging out a window pointing up at the sky. Manual everything using an OM Zuiko 100mm f/2.8 lens and 2x teleconverter at a distance of about ten feet. It's a bit rough - I would have liked to get a brighter shot, but the light wasn't great.

Thanks for stopping to take a look.
