This lady lives at the nearby airfield. During the airshow season and on other odd occasions, she comes out to play. This time, it was half Cuban-eights, loops, and victory rolls. It was a fantastic sky for it - split clouds and crepuscular rays - but the clouds were too big and the Spitfire too small. In the end, I did get this passing shot.
Tech stuff: 135mm lens with 2x teleconverter (540mm full-frame equivalent), +1EV compensation; a little local contrast adjustment to lighten the aircraft and pick out some texture in the cloud.
