Seems a little selfish...

This was taken at Coaley Peak, a viewpoint on the very edge of the Cotswolds. In the near distance is the Severn Vale; beyond that are the Black Mountains of Wales.

Perhaps they're only laying claim to a little bit of the hill...

Beautiful landscape, Spike! I love the affect of the rugged fence in the foreground. I would love to know more about this laying claim you mention.

@Laurie: It was just the sign on the stile, which seen from this angle (and with a certain frame of mind) seemed to be laying claim to everything beyond it... *shrug!* People tell me my brain is weird.
