"They" say the best time to photograph leaf colour is when it's cloudy-gloomy and raining. Well, here you go, although the gust-blown heavy drizzle had eased to light spitting by this stage.

Actually, considering how early the leaves started colouring this year, it's surprising now how many of the trees still have their greenery on. This one was one of the exceptions.

Look closely, and you'll notice we're being watched...

Beautiful, Spike! Just beautiful! By the looks of these leaves, winter is approaching earlier this year. Here too - raining like crazy! It's going to be a long cold winter, even for the desert!

Although we had some gloomy/cloudy skies the other day it was (sadly) too windy to get any straight shot if leaves.... not that I didn´t try it anyway.
